2. Speed Regulations

Speed limits in Novark are carefully determined based on road type, population density, and safety risk.

• Standard Limits:

  • Urban areas: 50 km/h

  • Rural roads: 80 km/h

  • Highways: 110 km/h

• Conditional Adjustments:
  Speed limits may be reduced in areas with higher risk, such as near schools, hospitals, markets, or construction zones. Temporary signs and electronic displays indicate these changes.

• Enforcement:
  Speed cameras, patrol units, and automated monitoring systems are used to enforce compliance. Drivers exceeding limits by significant margins face escalating penalties, including license suspension.

• Safe Driving Principle:
  Even when within legal limits, drivers must reduce speed in poor visibility, heavy rain, or high traffic conditions.
